The Logic that Lead us here
I found it in other people.
For a long time the for the right job was endless.
What I found instead was a way of paying attention and learning.
Good taste is not accidental. It is a rigorous, quiet edit.
Two years ago I packed up and moved through Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia - a fixed plan, with a sense that I needed to be somewhere I could actually hear myself think. I met people elsewhere. Some for a moment, some who are still in my life today. Somewhere in all of it, I changed. We all know how that sounds - everyone who travels says it. But the cliché sometimes works. Even if you me me and you, do not like to admit it.
What I noticed, over and over: I loved getting to know someone. Knowing them - not the tiny version, the big one. What they reached for, what they avoided, what they said they wanted versus what they actually did. And when I gave advice, just an honest read on what I noticed - something in them would get pinched. Not always, sometimes it was a miss. But people came back questioning, lighter, more themselves, that I couldn't ignore how fulfilling that was.
A Personal Approach
||||. We actually talk, talk talk. Not the kind of chat where someone's already planning their reply. I notice what you don't say as much as what you do. And we find the truth, gently but without softening it into nothing, because that's what actually moves someone forward. You don't need another yes-woman in your life. You need someone who's genuinely in your corner and still willing to tell you when your apartment, your wardrobe, or your Sunday routine is quietly working against the life you say you want.
You bring the life. I bring the eye.
||. A man with a taste that never got the chance to develop. Somewhere in their "funnel," something's blocked(like a chakra) - usually in your own head. Once I saw that parallel, couldn't unsee it. Optimizing a life isn't so different from optimizing anything else worth optimizing. It requires someone willing to sit with you long enough to find the actual blocker. I do that at work all the time.
That's the job now. That's it.
|. Couldn't keep doing that for every friend, everyday, for free, forever. But I can get better at it. Build a new career around it.
The other half of this story is growth marketing - the actual work I'd been doing day to day. Somewhere along the way, the two things fused. In growth marketing, you look at a funnel and find where it's leaking: where interest drops, a lead turns to nothing. Life has the exact same flow states. A man with money and no direction for example.
|||. Not handing you a instruction. Oh god, no. Not fiction I read somewhere and never lived. We will build this out of hours of actual conversation. Like i did with friends, with strangers who became friends, with myself, at 2am in a city I didn't live in.
When we talk, we are not performing. I'm doing the thing I already do, you do what you always done - except now it's just for you, and you have my full attention for the problem we are solving.
here is the person you will be talking to.
Build a Life that Lingers Without Distractions
Nobody finds their life by accident. Someone has to help you notice it.
